Lebanon Valley College Graduates 498 Students at May 10 Commencement #LVC2015
Lebanon Valley College celebrated its 146th Commencement on Saturday, May 9 with 498 students receiving their degrees in Sorrentino Gymnasium. The 381 graduating seniors were joined by 32 doctor of physical therapy candidates, 44 master's degree candidates, and 41 students who graduated in December 2014 and have now formally received their degrees.

Elizabethtown College Theatre performs the Oscar Wilde play, "The Importance of Being Earnest," from February 12 through 22, 2015. Oscar Wilde is known for his portrayal of the human condition in Victorian times, and none of his stories is more clever than the outlandish "The Importance of Being Earnest," about two men who have fallen for two ladies who have their hearts set on marrying a man named Ernest.

Lebanon Valley College Recognizes its First-Year Scholarship Recipients
Lebanon Valley College is recognizing its high-achieving first-year students for receiving scholarships from the College. Among the incoming class of 448 students, 63 percent rank in the top 30 percent of their high school class; 12 students were valedictorians; 52 percent of students earned a scholarship worth half-tuition; and five students received the full-tuition Allwein Scholarship. Wofford students spend summer consulting for area businesses
Seventeen Wofford students are participating in The Institute, a program created by the college in 2009 to help students learn professional skills such as networking, public speaking and consulting before graduation to help them better compete for jobs. The Institute runs from July 7 through August 1. The students will manage consulting projects for four businesses: MUSC, Dave Edwards Toyota, Fight Card and Treefalls. In preparation for their projects, Institute students learn the basic skills needed to function in a professional environment.
